Our journey began with a desire to create a healthy alternative to the traditional sugary chai that many Indians love. Yash passionate about food technology and his mother Poonam a seasoned hospitality entrepreneur set out to reinvent Chai in healthier form.
Yash, with his masters in Food Technology, inspired by his family’s health struggles and the need for better beverage choices, he embarked on a mission to introduce Kombucha to India. His extensive research during his masters led to optimizing the fermentation process, making it quicker without compromising on quality.
The name “BAY” represents Bacteria, Acetic Acid, and Yeast, the powerful components that work together to create this invigorating beverage.
